A few months back, the headlines were focused on what was going on in Libya. People were watching how a people were fighting for their freedom. Soon enough, the people took control, Gaddafi was killed, and then people stopped caring. The action was over, time to move on. So basically that was all people really knew of Libya and its infamous leader, Gaddafi. This essay however shed some light into the background of all the chaos. It helped me understand better who Gaddafi was and what was happening in Libya at that time. It helped me better understand why the people were so furious. This was also due to the fact that the author was able to give the information to the reader in a way that was easy to understand. He made the whole thing easy to follow and in a language that was not too complicated for an ordinary man to understand. The author understood and knew who his target audience was and thus it was effective in spreading what the author had to say. Thus his essay was straight to the point and easy to read.
