This essay is very much like “The Pencil Rack” in a sense that it was pretty much a list of things. However, unlike the former essay it was less descriptive of each of the elements. This meant that the left it up to the reader to assign a visual image to most of the things. This also gives the reader freedom to arrange each of the elements in a way that would seem fit for them. This essay also brings the reader back to times when they had their own Halloween parties. It brings back memories and emotions that came with these. Truly, it was interesting how she did all that with a list.
