Reaction to the Filipino Woman: Cory & Leonor, Gabriela & Imelda

What was interesting about his essay was how the author was able to relate women from times of the Spanish era to women of a more recent era. The author wrote it in such a way that made it seem as if the past heroes were still alive and right in front of the author. I also like how the descriptions of the author give such a clear image of what is trying to be portrayed. The way the author described each person did not only give a clear image of who was being described but at the same time shed light on all the other characters who were discussed in the essay. The constant shifting from one character to the next was so smooth and seamless that it made the essay so easy to read.
