Reaction Two Views of the Mississippi

I liked how the author was able to make a single simple subject look so different just by describing different aspects of it. I also liked how true the point that the author was trying to make was. At first sight certain things are just too beautiful to explain with words. There are some sights, tastes, sounds, and etc. that at first are just too beautiful for one to just take in. Sadly though, as time goes by, or as we get used to the thing, the brightness of it all just fades. We tend to forget about the beauty. That’s why it’s a good idea to once in a while just stop and appreciate the beauty that surrounds you. Imagine experiencing it all for the first time once again.
