People already know that it will not do them any good but they still have an urge to go ahead and watch anyway. As the author said it’s mostly because they need to prove to others that they are not afraid. Then he went on to say about why we do craze these movies that send shivers down our spines and leave us at the edge of our seats. What was interesting about how he did it though was through the use of several analogies. He was able to relate things that people could easily relate to make his point even clearer to his audience. He also used several examples to make the more complex ideas he was trying to show more understandable and he was able to successfully do so.
